Vopak reports a 13% increase in net profit for the first half of 2015 compared with the corresponding period of last year, to ?143 million ($162.2 million), on revenue up 8%, to ?701 million. Ebitda increased 11% year-on-year (YOY) in the first half, to ?408 million, and operating profit grew 12% YOY, to ?282 million. All of the figures exclude exceptional items. Second-quarter results have not been disclosed. The increase in Ebitda reflects higher occupancy rates at Vopak's tank storage terminals and positive currency effects from the weakening of the euro, Vopak says.
