Mitsubishi Chemical has upgraded its sales and earnings projections for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2010. Mitsubishi Chemical expects to record a net profit of ￥11 billion ($122 million) having previously forecast that it would break even, and post full-year sales of ￥2.53 trillion, having previously forecast sales of ￥2.49 trillion. The company expects to record an operating profit of ￥70 billion, having previously forecast an operating profit of ￥60 billion.
