Chiral Organic Ion Pair Catalysts Assembled Through a Hydrogen-Bonding Network

摘要

To develop a chiral nonracemic cation whereby the cationic center is strongly shielded to provide an opportunity for binding of an anion to the exterior portion of the cation via weak interactions such as hydrogen bonding;such cations might be used as chiral catalysts in enantioselective synthesis.
