ANOTHER METHOD FOR TRANSPORTATION PROBLEM

In general, MODI/Stepping Stone method is used for obtaining an optimal solution for Transportation Problem. The intent of this work is to present another method for solving certain Transportation Problem. Further we have developed the algorithm for Transportation Problem which is so easy that makes quite understandable to large class of readers. We also found that the optimal solution obtained in this investigation is either near optimal or optimal. This claim has been supported by two suitable examples.
