Evonik Industries acquires Dutch hydrogen peroxide producer

Evonik Industries said on Tuesday that on 3 September is signed a definitive agreement to acquire PeroxyChem Netherlands (Delfzijl), a producer of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), from PeroxyChem Holdings. Under the terms of the deal, subject to antitrust approvals, Evonik will take over the H2O2 manufacturing site at Delfzijl, the company’s 47 employees and the customer portfolio. Evonik anticipates closing the deal in the last quarter of this year. Financial details have not been disclosed.
