Private firm builds ammonia plant at Air Products site in Ttexas

Pallas Nitrogen Texas (Dallas) says that it has completed "significant development, permitting, and engineering" on a project to build an ammonia plant at Pasadena, TX. Construction is expected to commence by the end of this quarter and the plant, with capacity for 660 m.t./day of ammonia, is anticipated to start production in mid-2016. Meanwhile, Air Products has signed an agreement to supply the ammonia plant with hydrogen. Pallas is a privately held entity formed to develop, own, and operate the ammonia plant at Pasadena.
