Compass Mminerals buys stake in Bbrazilian plant nutrient firm

Compass Minerals has signed a definitive agreement to purchase a 35% stake in S?o Paulo-based Produqumica Industria e Comercio S.A. (Produqumica), a manufacturer and distributor of specialty plant nutrients. The all-cash transaction valued at R$452.4 million (US$115.9 million) is subject to customary post-closing adjustments. This agreement also includes a path to full ownership by early 2019.
