EuroChem closes upstream deal

EuroChem Group (Zug, Switzerland), a leading global fertilizer producer, today announced the completion of its acquisition of OJSC Astrakhan Oil and Gas Co. (OJSC AOGC). EuroChem has acquired a 100% stake in the company for 6.4 billion Russian ruble ($111 million). The deal comprised the acquisition of a state-owned stake via a public offering and acquisition of the remaining share from international private companies.
