US propylene contract down for seventh consecutive month

The US September propylene contract settled at a decline of 3 cents per pound on Friday, on the back of ample supply and weak crude futures. As a result, the decline took the polymer-grade (PG) propylene contract down to 30.00 cents per pound, and the chemical-grade (CG) propylene contract down to 28.50 cents per pound.
