ECHA opens CLH consultation on chlorsulfon

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has started an open consultation on a harmonized classifcation and labeling (CLH) proposal for chlorsulfu- ron. The substance is listed under the classifcation, labeling and packaging of substances and mixtures (CLP regulation), with the classifcations as aquatic acute 1, and aquatic chronic 1. The dossier submitter, Poland, is proposing classifcation as hazardous to the aquatic environment, with addition of M-factors: acute M-factor of 1000, chronic M-factor 100.
