Cheniere Signs LNG SPC with EDF

Cheniere Energy announced on July 17 that it signed a sale and purchase contract with Electricite de France (EDF), in which Cheniere will sell 770,000 tonnes per year of LNG produced at Train # 2 and #3 in Corpus Christi LNG Production Project (13.50 million tpy by 3 trains). EDF is the first buyer of LNG from Train #3. Production at Train#3 is scheduled to start in 2019. Train#1 is to start production in 2018 and #2 and #3 will follow.
