Evonik appoints new China head

Evonik Industries says that Claas-Jürgen Klasen has been appointed as president/ Evonik Greater China region, effective 1 January 2015. He succeeds Hans-Josef Ritzert, who will repatriate to Germany and take over the new position as managing director for Evonik Nutrition & Care. Klasen joined the former Degussa in 1990 as a process engineer.
