The contract negotiations on Tugnui coal produced at Buryat Autonomous Region in Chita, Russia, for the fiscal year 2010 have come to be expected to take place in the middle of March. Mr. Gribanovsky, Commercial Director of the producer Siberian Coal Energy Co., (SUEK) is scheduled to arrive at Japan and plans to visit several electric power companies for contract negotiations. The situation then may be volatile depending on progress of Australian coal negotiations and other factors, but an offer price seems very likely to be indicated at that timing. As for other brands than Tugnui coal, he seems to be intending to visit cement manufacturers, iron and steel producers and so on.
