Sumitomo Acquires Interest in Isaac Plains Coal Mine Within July

As previously reported, the Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) of the Australian Federal Government granted an approval for Sumitomo to buy a 50% interest in Isaac Plains coal mine. Because of this, as Vale didn't excercise the pre-emptive right, it has been practically decided that Sumitomo will buy this interest.
