Mongolian Congress Approved Railway Construction To Russian Border

The Congress of Mongol has recently approved a proposal by the government for railway construction with the distance of 1,100 km from Tavan Tolgoi deposit in South Gobi to the border with Russia. The railway is for export of metallurgical coal produced at Tavan Tolgoi deposit to the Asian Region through Russia and upon completion of the railway, metallurgical coal produced at the deposit will become able to be exported to Japan, South Korea and so on without passing through China.
