Onahama Port to Construct Coal Yards Amid New Terminal Development

New coal yard(s) will be constructed at “East Port Area” of Onahama Port, Fukushima, Japan.Japan’s MLIT (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism) takes charges of the development of thenew terminal backed by national government. The ministry has been proceeding with the dredging, and when it completes,current water depth of 14 meters will lowered to 18 meter.
