METI, Etc. Hold LNG Producer-Consumer Conference 2016

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and Asia Pacific Energy Research Center opened LiquefiedNatural Gas (LNG) Producer-Consumer Conference 2016 in Tokyo on November 24th, which has been held everyyear since 2012. Hiroshige Seko, the minister of METI, who delivered an opening address, talked about the necessity toexpand the market further, explaining about changes in environment surrounding LNG market and appealed for the roleJapan should play as well as the importance of corporation between LNG producers and consumers.
