10.5 Mil tpy of Thermal Coal Offered in KOSEP’s Bids for Term Contracts

Total 10.5 million tons per year of thermal coal was offered in the three bids for long-term contract invited by Korea South-East Power Co., Ltd. (KOSEP) with a closing date of September 30th (KOSEP-Coal-2014-LT04, LT05 and LT06). The details are that 5 million tpy was offered in the bid number of LT04, 2.5 million tpy in LT05 and 3 million tpy in LT06. 16 companies, 8 companies and 12 companies made offers in the bid LT04, LT05 and LT06 respectively. The bid quantity was 1.34 million tpy in total.
