According to International Group of Liquefied Natural Gas Importers, or GIIGNL, the world LNG trade volume for calendar year 2010 amounted to 483, 110,000 cubic meters, or about 220,210,000 MT with an increase of 21.2% from the previous year. Accompanied by economic recovery and increasing gas demand for power generation, the trade volume shows double digit growth across the whole of Europe, North America. South America, Asia and the Middle East.
