It was revealed that South Korea's Honam Petrochemical Corporation did not renew a contract at naphtha negotiations, which have been held between Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, or KPC, and customers. At the negotiations on full range naphtha for shipment from August 2010 to July 2011, the premium price of 21 US dollars/MT was already firmly fixed and a few customers decided to sign the contract. This is the first time that a term holder of KPC dropped the contract under the negotiations.
