Expansion Work of Boggabri Opencast Coal Mine Completed

The expansion work of Boggabri opencast coal mine in the State of NSW, Australia driven by 3 companies ofIdemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd., The Chugoku Electric Power Co., Inc. and Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation(NSSMC) has been completed and the inauguration ceremony took place at the site on August 28. About 90 persons suchas the persons in charge in 3 Japanese companies and the persons concerned with the Government of Australia attendedthis ceremony.
