The metallurgical coal export industry in Canada has again faced midwinter. This is because the management of export-oriented coal mines for metallurgical coal has sharply got aggravated owing to the long-term doldrums of the export market for metallurgical coal, and in the northeastern region of the Province of British Columbia (BC), the exportoriented coal mines for metallurgical coal with less cost competitiveness partly due to the geographical reasons have suspended operation one after the other.
