According to Global Coal Limited, 18 spot deals for thermal coal loaded at Richards Bay were realized and 40 spot deals for thermal coal at Newcastle were done in March. Concerning the deals of cargoes loaded at Richards Bay, the contract price of coal, which hovered around US$75.00-78.00 in early March, continued to decline and fell to the low price level of US$71.75 after six-month interval on March 26th. The price of cargoes are to be delivered in May 2014.
