Director General of Japan's ANRE Holds Talk With Russian Rosneft Head

Ichiro Takahara, the Director General of the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy (ANRE), Japan held a talk with Russian Rosneft Head Igor Sechin at the Agency's headquarter in Tokyo on May 29th. The Director General highly appreciated the agreement to jointly explore oil and gas blocks off the coast of eastern Siberia, which was made between Japan's Inpex Corporation and Russian Rosneft, and said, “ This is the first joint development between Japan and Russia since the collaboration on the Sakhalin-1 and the Sakhalin-II projects.
