Showa Shell To Close Oogimachi Factory At Keihin Refinery-Plans to reduce about 20% of its refining capacity in total

On February 16th, Showa Shell Sekiyu K.K. announced to close Oogimachi Factory rented to its consolidated subsidiary, Toa Oil Co., Ltd., which is located at Keihin Refinery in Kawasaki city, Kanagawa Prefecture. The refining capacity of the factory is 120,000 barrels per day. Showa Shell intends to stop crude run before the turnaround slated for September 2011 and close the factory accordingly.
