Cockatoo May Sell Out Coal Assets To Mitsui

On 10th September, Cockatoo Coal Ltd. of Australia announced to have concluded exclusivity agreement with Mitsui & Co.on selling out of plural coal assets the company holds at Surat Basin in Queensland. Cockatoo Coal now holds all 100 percent interests at Surat Basin in Woori, Davies Road, Krugers, Bottle Tree and other concessions. At these concessions production of maximum 6 million MT per year in total of export thermal coal is envisaged.
