Joban Joint Power Co., Ltd. has decided to continue imports of US bituminous coal. In November, the company imported on trial basis bituminous coal produced in Montana, United States. As the trial burning had positive outcomes, purchase of coal after 2011 has been decided. Tonnage and contract base are still unstable depending on market fluctuation. Therefore, coal could be procured on spot supply basis.
