The increasing numbers of breastcore biopsies that are being performed for mammographic calcifications has presented surgical patholo-gists in recent years with a broadening spectrum of abnormal breast lesions.We are now fre-quently seeing lesions that had previously been considered rare,and some of these entities can present diagnostic and management challenges.
