Bayer MaterialScience appoints new CFO to prepare for stock market flotation

Bayer MaterialScience (BMS), which is in the process of being separated from the rest of Bayer, has appointed Frank Lutz, 45, as CFO effective 1 October. He succeeds Axel Steiger-Bagel, who takes over as senior Bayer representative/Benelux on 1 November. Lutz will be a member of the board of management of BMS and that subgroup's executive committee. He will be responsible for all finance-related matters of MaterialScience, which is expected to be floated on the stock market as a separate company in 12–18 months.
