Brenntag's earnings, sales edge higher

Brenntag has posted a slight increase in 2013 proft after tax, to ?339 million, on sales almost 1% higher, at ?9.8 billion. Gross proft increased 1% last year, to ?1.94 billion, and operating Ebitda slipped by 1%, to ?698 million. Fourth -quarter fgures have not been disclosed. The results represent a sound development despite a challenging macroeconomic situation, Brenntag says.
