Bayer to divest interventional device business for $415 million

Bayer HealthCare, a subgroup of Bayer, has entered into a defnitive agreement to sell its interventional device business to medical devices company Boston Scientifc (Natick, MA), for $415 million. Bayer’s interventional business, which is based near Minneapolis, generated sales of about $120 million in 2013 and employs about 350 people.
