Air Liquide Bulks up its Operations in the Mideast

Air Liquide says it will invest about ?60 million ($77.2 million) to grow its Mideast business, supporting demand from the steel sector. The investment includes a 110-m.t./day gaseous oxygen plant at Sadat City, Egypt due onstream at the end of 2011, to supply steel firm EZZ under a long-term contract.
