Prediction of dust composition and amount in kraft recovery boilers

摘要

A modular,steady-state model for the recovery furnace (WinFURIM) has been extended to predict dust compositions and amounts accurately.The model is validated with industrial boiler data from three recovery boilers using the same inlet black liquor but having different combustion air systems,generating different furnace temperatures.The model can predict the differences in dust compositions and amounts among the three boilers.
