摘要

The paper presents a method enabling random generation of the solid shape. Coefficients and indices (exponents) of the power were introduced into a system of parametric equations of a sphere. The system of equations modified in this way was used for describing the solid shape. Random changes in the values of coefficients and indices (exponents) of the power resulted in changes in the dimensions of the solid modeled. Random changes in the values of coefficients and indices (exponents) of the power were obtained by applying logistic representation (transformation) and the random-number generator from the theory of chaos. The mathematical model of solid shape proposed in the paper enables, by means of control numbers, random generation of solid shapesimitating bean and lentil seeds in the dimensional range of their geometrical characteristics. This method may be applied to random generation of three-dimensional models of irregular solids approximating the shapes of plant raw material processed in thefood industry.
