Temporal waveforms of pressure amplitude have been measured using quartz pressure sensors in the central and peripheral (transverse edge) regions of flat electrically exploded foil (EEFs) made of various materials, including copper (M1T grade), aluminum (AD1M), brass (L63), nickel alloy (80NKhS), titanium (VT1-00), steel (08KP), and tin-plated lead. The results of measurements have been used to determine the coefficient of pressure amplitude nonuniformity and explosion time spread over the foil. It is established that the resistivity of the foil material is an important factor influencing the uniformity and simultaneity of explosion.
