摘要

The resonant vibrational excitation of gaseous iron pentacarbonyl Fe(CO)(5) by femtosecond pulsed IR laser radiation is accompanied by the deposition of microcrystals of higher iron carbonyls Fe-2(CO)(9) and Fe-3(CO)(12), It is found that microstructured iron-containing films are formed on the surface of the gas-cell windows immediately in the region of laser beam passage. The possible mechanism of film formation is considered.
