'Cyclic' resins could create recyclable composite body panels and pickup boxes

Dow Automotive thinks outside the box of its own corporate structure by agreeing to develop cyclic butylene terephthalate resins from Cyclics Corp. for automotive applications. Dow Automotive researchers in Auburn Hills, MI, USA, will work with researchers from Cyclics, Schenectady, NY, to determine how cyclic thermoplastics can best be incorporated into automotive applications.
