TDI output ramped up to meet Chinese demand

In anticipation of a double-digit growth of the TDI (toluene diisocyanate) market and to cater to the Chinese demand, German chemicals supplier BASF will build the world's largest single-train plant in Europe. The plant will have a capacity of 300,000 tonnes/ year and will be fully integrated with precursor production.
