Healthy growth for medical devices in Asia

The increase of healthcare projects in Asia Pacific has accelerated the growth of the medical imaging market in the region, says Frosf & Sullivan that forecasts a growth of 12.7% in 2012, twice that of the rest of the world. The upturn in medical tourism has been one of the key drivers for this increase, with the paradigm shift in patients' mindset to preventive healthcare diagnosis as another contributing factor.
