Shown at the Chinaplas, Amut's FFG760B thermo-former, with forming and steel rule die cutting technology, features a two-column forming area, instead of the usual four columns. A "cheaper version" (15% lower price) compared to the four column machine, the displayed equipment had been sold to a Chinese thermoformer. Designed for sale in China, Australia and Europe, the new unit, which forms by air or vacuum, utilises steel rule die cutting and stacking in sequence and is able to process materials like HIPS, OPS, PP, APET, PVC, EPS and others.
