Microlayer packaging film offers improved barrier, improved toughness

Previously microlayer films have been focused on decorative, iridescent effects. But a new process developed by Cloeren creates functional films. By replacing the conventional five-layer films used for food packaging with a 40-layer film from Cloeren's new feedblock presents many more interfaces.
