Unit-of-use packaging of prescription drugs

Unit-of-use packaging of prescription drugs is recommended by the United States Pharmacopeia. Such packaging in consumer-size bottles and blister packs by the pharmaceutical manufacturer would replace the current system of bulk-packaged drugs which are then repackaged at each drug store.
