Bridgestone constructing Vietnamese plant

Bridgestone is investing US$575 million to build a tyre plant in Dinh Vu Industrial Zone in northern Hai Phong, Vietnam. The facility, the biggest foreign investment in Hai Phong, is being built on a 1.02 million sq m lot and will have a capacity of 24,700 tyres / day. It will start up by 2014.
