Bioplastics from agriculture waste

Two Dutch companies. Royal Cosun and Avantium, will combine forces to develop a process for the production of bioplastics and biofuels from agricultural waste streams. The duration of the first phase of the collaboration will be two years and, if successful, the companies intend to commercialise the technology.
