The new 2003 Jeep Wrangler uses two overhead speaker/light pods of polypropylene which replace a previous assembly. The former Jeep Wrangler light bar was a complex assembly of fabric and foam over a sheet steel base that was first formed, then coated and welded, then wrapped in foam-linked trim cloth. It carried an audio system speaker at each end and a center mounted dome light.
