Natural and wood fiber plastic composites (WPC) will gro a phenomental 20% this year in North America and Western Europe. Demand for natural wood and fiber reinforced composites in the combined regions will reach nearly 590,000 tonnes (1.3 billion lb), valued at roughly US US900 million. The material system's growth defies the economic slump in both geographical regions.
