A revolutionary product, wood plastic (or wood composite) is a combination of any type of wood waste and polymers, such as PE, PP and PVC in powder/pellet form or regrind, including additives, colurants, lubricants and binders. According to busi-ness consulting firm Principia Partners, PE is by far the dominant polymer used and will remain so till 2005. However, rapid growth for PVC is also forecast.
