Basell has launched a range of chromium catalysts for the production of high-density poly-ethylene (HDPE). "These catalysts, marketed under the trade name Avant C, can be utilised in gas phase or slurry processes," reveals Michael Mulrooney, Vice-President of Basell's Catalyst Business.
