Indian firm to plant in Africa

Indian firm Harrisons Malayalam is planning to develop rubber plantations on 4,000-5,000 ha of land in Ghana on a long-term lease basis. The RP Sanjiv Goenka Group, which owns tea and rubber plantations is reportedly investing almost US$65 million for undertaking the planting of rubber.
