摘要

In recent years, China's economy has grown rapidly. By 2010 the total production value of the construction industry is expected to surpass RMB9 trillion, 7% of the average annual growth rate.How to manage the bottleneck of natural resource shortage and realise the sustainable development of society has become a major challenge that is in need of a solution. In reaction to this serious situation, the National Construction Ministry has ordered that 50% of new buildings should achieve energy saving standards by 2010.
